Čeština do hry!
Máte anglickú verziu hry The Sims 2 a jej datadiskov? S týmto návodom, môžete z akejkoľvek verzie nastaviť českú a to bez akýchkoľvek inštalácií. Stačí len postupovať podľa tohto návodu:
1. Choďte na nasledovný adresár: Start (lišta) > Spustiť
2. Do zobrazeného okna napíšte regedit a stlačte enter.
3. Objaví sa vám tabuľka. Postupne sa preklikajte na tento adresár: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\1.0 (alebo HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 University\1.0 - podľa toho, či máte nainštalovanú aj Univerzitu)
4. Potom kliknite na LanguageName a zmeňte slovo English na Czech a stlačte OK. Rovnako si otvorte aj Language a prepíšte hodnotu 1 na b a opäť stlačte OK
5. Spuste hru a presvedčte sa, či vám čeština funguje.
Pozn.: Maxis totiž vydal hru so všetkými jazykmi, pričom ich zbytočne nenastavil do ponuky napr. anglickej verzie v Amerike.
